LTVP，The full name is Long Term Visit Pass, which is a long-term visit permit issued by the Singapore government for individuals who need to stay in Singapore for extended periods of time due to family visits, career development, employment, or accompanying studies. Who can Apply?

There are two review departments for LTVP, one is the ICA and the other is the MOM . Specifically:

1) Apply to the immigration office:

1. Spouses of Singaporean citizens
2. PR's spouse
3. Singaporean citizens/children under 21 years old
4.Parents of Singaporean citizens/PR over the age of 4.21
5. College graduates seeking employment in Singapore
6. Women whose children/grandchildren are studying in Singapore with student permits
7. Seeking permission to give birth in Singapore

2) Apply to the Human Resources Department:

1. Spouse of SP/EP permit holder (common law) (monthly salary of 6000 or above)
2. Unmarried disabled children of SP/EP permit holders over 21 years old (with a monthly salary of 6000 yuan or more)
3. Unmarried stepchildren of SP/EP permit holders under the age of 21 (with a monthly salary of 6000 or more)
4. Parents of SP/EP permit holders (with a monthly salary of 12000 or more)
5. Entrepass (Entrepass) parents (after one year, the company hires 6 local ordinary employees or 2 PMEs - professionals, managers, executives, etc., with expenses reaching SGD 200000)
6.Spouses (common law) of PEP permit holders, unmarried disabled children over 21 years old, unmarried stepchildren under 21 years old, and parents can apply for LTVP.

LTVP+， Only applicable to spouses of Singaporean citizens.

License Period

The term of LTVP varies from 6 months to 5 years. It should be noted that the validity period of LTVP applied to the Human Resources Department is linked to the validity period of the EP/SP permit.

The term of LTVP+is initially three years, and each subsequent renewal can reach a maximum of five years.

Medical And Employment Subsidies

LTVP does not enjoy medical and employment subsidies, while LTVP+enjoys medical and employment subsidies, which are basically the same as PR.

Work Permissions

Holding an LTVP permit itself cannot directly work in Singapore and requires obtaining a legal work permit.

Holders of LTVP+permits can directly apply for LOC work without the need to apply for a separate work permit.

But it should be noted that! PR spouses and SC spouses, whether holding LTVP or LTVP+, can directly apply for LOC work.

Can LTVP be Replaced with LTVP+?

1) At present, those who have LTVP can wait until the renewal of their license, and the authorities will automatically consider whether they can upgrade to LTVP+.

2) Those who currently hold an LTVP license can reapply immediately.

3) Local citizens or spouses of PRs can apply for LTVP and LTVP+through the same process, and those who meet the criteria will automatically receive LTVP+.
