MyICA Arrival Card System Upgrade
2026-10-16
The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) of Singapore has issued an official advisory. Travellers submitting the enhanced electronic arrival card via MyICA must update the mobile application to its latest version. Starting 30 September, the old MyICA version will not work for arrival‑card submission or generating QR‑codes for land checkpoint clearance.
Who Needs to Submit the Arrival Card
The electronic arrival declaration applies to all incoming travellers, including Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents and Long‑Term Pass holders.
Two groups are exempted:
‑ Transit passengers with no immigration clearance
‑ Local residents entering and exiting via Woodlands and Tuas land checkpoints
Key Features of the New System
The revamped MyICA arrival card brings improved interface and practical enhancements:
‑ Supports 19 language options
‑ Auto‑fill function via passport scanning
‑ Submission available on both official website and mobile App
ICA emphasises that official arrival‑card submission is completely free of charge. Avoid third‑party paid websites. Only one submission is required per entry, whether you use the old or upgraded system.
Travel Tip
Confirm MyICA is updated before departure to prevent failed form submission or QR‑code generation at checkpoints, which may delay your clearance.
