How to Update SG Pass After Passport Update?

If the Chinese passport is updated, do I need to reapply for the Singapore pass I hold? Or does it just need to update the pass information? What is the process for updating?

1.Do I need to reapply? No.
2. Do I need to update my permit information? Yes.

What is the specific update process? In terms of classification:

Holders of Work Pass, DP, and LTVP

These three groups of people can update their passport information and submit relevant documents on the MOM website.

01 After entering the homepage of the MOM, click on "Work Passes".

02 Select the name of the work permit held under "Work Passes". For example, the Long Term Visit Pass.

03 After clicking on 'Long Term Visit Pass', select the' Renew a Pass' option and click to enter.

04 After entering 'Renew a pass', slide down and select the' EP eService 'option, then click to enter.

05 Select the second entry "For pass holders (for personal transactions)" option and click to enter.

06 After clicking on '06', log in to your personal account using the Singpass app and follow the instructions to complete the update step by step.

Holders of Work Pass

This group of people can also notify the company's HR department that their passport has been updated and provide them with a copy to update their passport information on the MOM website.

Holders of LTVP

This group of people can also update their passport information at the ICA, which needs to be completed within 4 days.

01 Log in to the ICA official website, select the "Update Passport" option, and click to enter.

02 Select "Update Information (Travel Document)" and follow the step-by-step instructions to complete the update step by step.

Generally, updates to this information will be processed within 7 working days and the processing results will be sent via email. If it is necessary to use automated gates at the immigration checkpoint with a certificate for entry and exit inspection, it can be done after the 4th working day after the update.

Holders of Student Pass

There are three ways for this group of people to update their passport information:

02 Send an email to ICA_STP1@ica.gov.sg
03 to ICA building, fourth floor.

The above update methods require a payment of SGD 60 and the following documents must be prepared before the update:
