Foreign students who want to apply for Singapore Primary One may require different documents than local students (citizens/PRs). On the one hand, it is necessary to submit an additional letter of intent, and on the other hand, non English documents need to be translated.

Submit the Indication of Interest Form

International students must submit the indication of interest form online within the specified time, indicating in advance their intention to enroll their child in primary one this year. International students who fail to submit their the indication of interest form in a timely manner will not be able to enroll in local primary schools. After international students submit their "the indication of interest formt" online in advance, they will receive a "degree confirmation letter" issued by the Ministry of Education in October. Only after the degree is confirmed can they apply.

① Prepare the following information before indicating your interest:

a Child's personal particulars.

b Child’s passport number or Foreign Identification Number (FIN).

c Details from child’s Immigration Exemption Order, Dependant’s Pass, Student’s Pass, or Long-Term Visit Pass.

d Both parents' personal particulars.

e A valid email.

f (Optional) A Singapore mobile number.

g A Singapore address where the child is or will be residing.

h Personal particulars of your child's elder sibling, if they are studying in a national school in Singapore.

a Child’s birth certificate (an English translated copy is required if it is in another language).

b Child’s passport bio-data page. This is the page that shows the child's personal particulars and photo, and passport details.

c Parents' NRIC front and back, for Singapore Citizen parent.

d Parents' marriage certificate, where applicable.

The Documents Required to Register

a Child's birth certificate.

c Child's Immigration Exemption Order, Dependant’s Pass, Student's Pass, Long Term Visit Pass, if any.

d Both parents' passport, NRIC, Entry, or Re-Entry Permit.

e Both parents' Employment Pass, Work Permit, Long Term Visit Pass, if any.

f Child's immunisation records.
