SG Self-employed EP 2024: Your Essential Guide

The Employment Pass (EP) is a work pass issued by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) of Singapore. Applicants register a private limited company in Singapore to obtain an employment pass, enabling them to invest, start a business, and immigrate in Singapore.

Immigration Strategies
1. Dependant Pass (DP)
If the monthly salary exceeds SGD 6000, spouse/unmarried children under the age of 21 (including legal adopted children/daughters) can apply for DP.
2. Long Term Visit Pass (LTVP)
1) If the monthly salary exceeds SGD 6000, you can apply for LTVP for your spouse (Common Law)/unmarried disabled children over 21 years old/unmarried stepchildren under 21 years old.
2) If the monthly salary exceeds 12000 Singapore dollars, parents can apply for LTVP.
3. Permanent Residency (PR)
Direct PR application is possible.
