What Is ICT EP?

ICT stands for Intra corporate Transferee, meaning internal dispatch. Simply put, it is a type of dispatch work pass and one of the types of EP.

Who Can Apply for ICT-EP?

ICT-EP is mainly a work pass issued by companies outside Singapore when they decide to establish subsidiaries within Singapore and dispatch their internal executives to work for companies within Singapore. Applicants are required to have worked for the company for at least one year and submit the company's organizational chart at the time of application.

The purpose of this pass is to attract more overseas companies to establish branch offices in Singapore in response to changes in the company's management.

What Are The limitations of ICT-EP Compared to Regular EP?

1. The ICT-EP permit is valid for a maximum of 5 years and cannot be renewed after its expiration.

2. ICT-EP permit holders are not allowed to apply for family members to come to Singapore through the Family Permit (DP) or Long Term Visit Permit (LTVP).

3. After the ICT-EP permit expires, the applicant cannot stay in Singapore to work, cannot switch to a regular EP, and cannot apply for long-term residency.
